This application provides up-to date information and videos on accessibility in County Cavan. There is an access map which shows the locations of the accessible parking bays in our county towns and a tool to report issues with illegal parking or signage obstructions.
The App is easy to use and will be free to download from the iPhone App Store.

  • Sports Inclusion Development Officer – 1 Year Fixed Term Contract

    Applications are invited from suitably qualified candidates for the following position: Sports Inclusion Development Officer – 1 Year Fixed Term Contract Monaghan Sports Partnership and Cavan Sports Partnership, supported by the Irish Sports Council and partner agencies have secured funding for the recruitment of a Sports Inclusion Development Officer (SIDO). The Sports Partnerships will jointly manage the work of the SIDO and the officer will have the advantage of benefiting from an established sports development network and administration structure. The work programme of the SIDO will be guided by the LSPs strategic plans and the national objectives for this programme.

  • Cavan commits to becoming an 'age-friendly' county

    The Cavan Age Friendly Alliance was launched on Friday, April 20, in Cavan Crystal Hotel at an event attended by over 120 older people, agencies and community representatives. The day marked a commitment by public sector agencies to work in partnership with older people to turn Cavan into an ‘age friendly’ county.
